The Forward Trust empowers people to break the often interlinked cycles of crime and addiction, allowing them to move forward with their lives.
Following a merger with another social enterprise focused on employment training, it asked us to undertake a market review and help create a five year strategy for the new merged organisation.
We started with a detailed review of existing and potential funding streams and an analysis of the competition.
Using this knowledge, we worked directly with staff throughout the organisation to help set achievable diversification and expansion goals, which were used as the basis for a new financial and marketing strategy.
This new strategy proved successful, with turnover increasing by 25% in eighteen months, largely in areas of new activity.
We went on to propose and ultimately oversee the implementation of a new management and delivery structure, including the full integration of the merged organisation. The suggested new structure and a full new senior team were put in place within four months.
