Together with Practical Governance, in April 2017 we brought together over 100 movement makers and funders for a two-day exploration of the practical strategies and tools needed to build and sustain social movements. The focus was on moving towards flatter hierarchies and grassroots decision-making, and letting go of traditional hierarchies and direct control. Watch out for Losing Control 2018-19.
Join the courageous, the brave and the best changemakers from all kinds of backgrounds, sectors and positions to discuss and create bottom-up and collaborative approaches to social change for now and for the future.
There are three ticket options.
- Free ticket: We want to make sure this event is accessible to everyone and we know that creating social change means sometimes you can’t cover the bills. We still want you to come and we have bursaries available so please register for a free ticket and get in touch so we can make sure it happens email: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Standard Ticket: This includes the ticket to the event (including pre-event support to help you get them most from your experience if you want it), food and drink at the event as well as access to the network (we will be using the network to help us work out how best to support attendees continue the journey afterwards).
- Standard Ticket + Pay it forward: This is the same as above but if you can give a little more to help another organisation come too – all monies go to covering their participants travel expenses
