I started up Grapevine’s lived experience co-production service for autistic people and people with a learning disability 3 and a half years ago and this playbook is exactly the kind of thing we needed back then to get us started! It was really complicated to do on our own, and dealing with the benefits system continues to be a minefield, but we’re really proud that we’ve been able to pay over 60 people for their lived expertise.
