Asha has a background in social change and social justice, applying these skills to the human rights and international development sector. Her passion lies in using people-centred approaches to help implement meaningful social change which has led her to get involved with various development and social policy projects in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Prior to joining The Social Change Agency, she worked at The British Asian Trust where she helped to tackle inequality and injustice in South Asia.
Asha holds a BA in War Studies and has recently graduated from King’s College London. In her spare time she volunteers as an English tutor where she aims to empower and support children from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. She is also a keen piano player, gardener and (terrible) footballer.
