Capacity building and coaching for the Cabinet Office

Cabinet Office

Applying systems thinking for better outcomes

The Cabinet Office asked us to help them better understand how systems thinking and systemic principles can be used to inform policy and investment decisions, allowing them to deliver better outcomes.

Working with their 14-strong Social Investment Team, we ran an intensive workshop exploring how their values influence their work, followed by a masterclass on systems thinking and its application to public policy.

We also provided one-to-one coaching and support to help the Social Investment Team embed learnings from the workshop into their working lives.

This improved understanding of systems thinking allowed the Social Investment Team and their Cabinet Office colleagues to take a more holistic view when designing social interventions, as well as developing capacity and confidence amongst individual team members.
