Creating value and impact through a member engagement model

International Insetting Platform (IPI)

The brief

The International Platform for Insetting (IPI) is a collaborative membership organisation for businesses implementing insetting projects that achieve positive impacts for the environment and communities along their value chains.

Their membership includes well known companies such as Nespresso, Accor, Chanel, Keurig, H&M Group, as well asĀ  organisations with climate change expertise such as South Pole, Climate Partner, Ecosphere.

IPI approached us looking for support in developing a membership value proposition which would support their theory of impact and workstreams, empower their network and attract new organisations.

Our approach

Utilising our Network Building Methodology we conducted a health check on the core building blocks of the community including their governance model, resources and capacity.

Through a series of interviews, which included current as well as potential future community members, we were able to create a valuable and impactful member engagement model.

The launch of the guide and syllabus is a great milestone for the IPI. These are the fruits of your work too! THANK YOU!

The results

The team at International Platform for Insetting were able to gain new clarity on their membership model and the value created inside the network.

Building on this understanding and with an eye to provide additional value and attract new members, IPI have recently launched their Practical Guide to Insetting with plans to launch an accompanying workshop series in the near future.
